It's best to aim to be on the larger size for helmets and straps.  The larger sizing increases safety, but padding will sometimes need adjustment.

Step 1: Changing padding placement

• Padding placement is placed for the best fit on most people.  However, you may not be most people.  You might be a snowflake.  If that's the case move the padding around, take some out, and/or put more in. 
• The only padding that MUST stay in, for safety, on Atomic Defense helmets is the Tan colored padding. 

Step 2: Sending a picture and description of the issue to us for help

If adjusting the padding doesn't help, send us a picture and description of the issue, and we can try and solve the problem for you.
