My bank statement shows that my credit card was charged twice. Why?Updated 3 months ago
To date, we have never inadvertently charged someone twice. What is showing is a "Pending" charge that your bank is using to verify funds in an account.
If you see two transactions, the "Pending" verification will disappear in a few days. You could also contact your bank to confirm.
The "Pending" charge will disappear in a day or two since your bank uses that method to verify funds are in your account.
The two most common reasons for this:
- You first entered your card number with non-matching information (compared to what your bank has on file) during your first payment attempt.
- Your first attempt was not verified or was marked as possible fraud by our system.
